Christmas in July

My husband's birthday was last week, July 31st. We always have a dinner party for his birthday This time his birthday party got hijacked by Christmas in July. My friend and I have had this Christmas in July idea for a while and have talked about it on and off all month. So when I said, "Let's get together for Doc's birthday" she instantly started soaking dried fruit in brandy. Poor guy. Here are some photos of the pre-guest dining table...I had fun setting it up.

    Michelle this is gorgeous...you did a fantastic job of the table setting, so pretty. And I'm sure Doc enjoyed himself and his birthday too even if it was hijacked by Christmas in July :) :)
